Cold formed c sections manufactured to suit any size of mezzanine flooring, whether it`s a simple over office deck out or a complete extra floor storage area our light weight sections are ideal for the job
lipped cee`s or channels can be manufactured to your dimensions, we have the capacity to make them anywhere from 75mm up to 350mm in depth in millimetre increments, this covers all standard UK mezzanine floor applications
we are able to make the c sections with holes at each end for the bolt on cleats and centre holes for fitting of steel bracing
Galvanised steel cee section purlins
structural members: we use the latest standard S45 grade steel which has excellent strength over weight properties and is much more efficient than using hot rolled steel or structural decking sheets, the structural members are light weight even at long lengths, they are easy to handle and easy to fit, unlike concreted floor systems the mezzanine floor can easily be dismantled by simply reversing the construction method
Fixing cleats: we have galvanised cleats manufactured from the same material as the c sections, these are very strong and will suit most bolting conditions, we also have bolt or weld on cleats available in 6mm thk steel, they are available with either 14mm or 18mm holes for connection to the structure
Bracing struts: stability bracing can easily be achieved by using a simple zinc coated threaded stud, for a more robust system we can supply a specially manufactured bracing strut which is a 50 x 50mm galvanised steel angle with cleated ends punched to suit the holes on the c section
